Community Memorial Healthcare has received four national awards from the American Heart Association recognizing its commitment to high-quality care for heart attack, stroke and diabetes patients.
The honors include the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award and Get With The Guidelines® – Coronary Artery Disease NSTEMI Bronze award for providing research-based care that improves patient outcomes.
Community Memorial Healthcare also earned Stroke Gold Plus with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll recognition for meeting national standards for rapid stroke treatment and specialized care for stroke patients with Type 2 diabetes.
“These recognitions underscore our commitment to implementing research-based best practices to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients,” said Community Memorial Healthcare President and CEO Mick Zdeblick.
The awards are based on the health system’s performance in meeting American Heart Association quality standards for treating stroke and heart attack patients.
