Hi, I’m Baby — a playful, independent 6-year-old Labrador mix looking for an adult-only home where I can be your one and only. I’ll thrive with an experienced owner who understands my needs. I’m active, house- and crate-trained, and I’ll stand by the door to let you know when I need to go outside. I come when called and sit on command. I love going for walks, getting belly rubs and playing tug-of-war. I do have a chronic skin condition that requires daily medication and regular medicated baths to keep it under control.
Hi, I’m Cain — a handsome, almost 10 year-old Pit Bull mix in search of a new home after mine was lost in the Bobcat Fire. I enjoy walks, affection, and interactive toys. My favorite treats are fruits and veggies! I’m good with kids, but I need to be the only pet in the home. I’ve had training and know the commands sit, stay, lie down and leash. Sometimes I try to dart out the door, but if you remind me to sit and stay, I’ll wait patiently. I have hypothyroidism and take daily medication. I’m also on anti-anxiety medication, though I may not need it in a calm, stable forever home. I’m used to living indoors — who wouldn’t be a little anxious after suddenly losing everything?
Hi, I’m Freckles — a shy, almost 9-year-old “Super Mutt” mix (Chihuahua, Beagle,Poodle, Pekingese, Miniature Pinscher, and more, according to my DNA test!) rescued from an L.A. shelter. I’m friendly with people I know, but I may need time to warm up to new faces. I’m looking for a patient, adult-only home where I can get comfortable at my own pace. I get along with most dogs, so if you already have a fur baby, bring them along for a meet-and-greet! It’s unknown how I’d do with cats. I need a structured environment and ongoing work with a trainer. When I feel scared, I sometimes use my mouth or guard resources, but I’m super treat-motivated, which makes training easier and more fun for both of us!
