Hi, I’m Princess a 5 year old cute smaller sized Chow with a beautiful smile. I’m shy but willing to be pet and happy about life. I used to live on a ranch in a fenced yard with Chato, but I was right outside the back door so I had more interaction with the family of the house.

I’ve participated in the playgroups they have at the kennel. I’m shy and awkward with the other dogs right now, but I’m trying to play and I’m eager to learn how.

Hi: I was named Floyd, even though I’m a sweet and petite female. I was afraid and confused when I was dropped off at the shelter. It’s helped that everyone here has been very nice to me, but I still get a little shy and nervous now and then. I’m at my best when I get out of my kennel and go on walks. I don’t mean to brag, but I’ve been told I’m pretty good on leash. I also enjoy it when I get to hang out with some of the other dogs here. I do best with dogs who are calm and gentle like me. What I really need is someone who will love me as much as I will love them…a family who can see beyond my shyness and wants a quiet and gentle companion. Hi: I’m Oreo a 7 1/2 year old Chihuahua mix looking for a new home because my family just had too many dogs. They received a notice that most of us had to go, and so I came to C.A.R.L. with a bunch of my puppies. I enjoy going for walks. I get along with many other dogs, but I can be choosy sometimes. So let’s have a meet and greet first! I’m cautious and shy with new people. I need to go to a home with no small children because I’ll defend myself if I feel like I’m being messed with too much, but if you take the time to let me get to know you, I turn into a little teddy bear! I’ll jump in your lap, I’ll beg to be picked up, and I’m just an all-around love bug!

The employees at Petco Moorpark have been trained to provide daily care to spayed and neutered shelter rabbits who live at the store and are available for adoption. Hi: I’m Leonardo a 1 year old Greyhound/Saluki X according to the shelter I was rescued from. People think I look more of a Shepherd X. Whatever breed I am I’m a lovable boy with crazy ears.

I’m a sweet boy, but I have not had much life experiences, so was quite scared when I first arrived. I’m quickly getting the hang of things and I’m very responsive. I’m good with older children as long as they are nice. I haven’t been cat tested, yet, but they suspect I will be fine. I love to play, but have a soft mouth and I give sweet kisses. I love being with the other dogs and anyone I’m bonded to.
