The County of Ventura is developing an Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy strategic plan and as part of this process they want to know how you participate in arts and culture in your community. Arts and cultural asset mapping is creating a detailed picture of all the creative and cultural resources in our community to better understand and support local arts and culture.
Respond by January 31, 2025. They’re looking beyond traditional venues to discover what makes Ventura County special – from car shows and favorite dance spots to murals, open mics, and places that connect you to your heritage. If it adds to our county’s creative life or supports your creative spirit, they want to know about it! Instructions are on the website, but it’s just as simple as sharing a few words and “dropping a pin!”
There are two ways to participate:
• Take a 10-minute survey
• Map your favorite creative and cultural assets
Whether you’re an artist, patron, or community member who loves the arts, your perspective matters! All responses will remain confidential, but after you complete the survey, you can enter a drawing to win tickets to events from our local arts and culture organizations- including concerts, theater, and festivals!
