The 2026 ARTEFFECT Summer Competition invites high school students to create original artwork celebrating Unsung Heroes whose innovations, inventions, and research have made a lasting impact on others.
The free competition is open to students in grades 9–12, including rising freshmen and 2026 high school graduates. Students may submit original 2D or 3D artwork inspired by an approved Unsung Hero Innovator, along with a reflective Impact Statement. More than $20,000 in cash prizes will be awarded, including a $3,000 Grand Prize. Submissions are due by September 15 at 11:59 pm PT. www.arteffectlmc.org/competition/summer.
