Autism Society Ventura County is excited to host the 2nd annual ‘Celebrating the Autistic Mind’ Art Show and Artisan Fair. With even more opportunities for your creativity to be celebrated, we invite All Autistic Artists, Artisans, and Creatives to submit their work for showcase consideration. Selected art will be featured in this FREE 4-day show. The 2024 show had over 875 visitors! There is no cost for artists to display or visitors to attend the show.
Arts organizations who support individuals with disabilities may help artists to submit art, but all artist credit will be given to the Autistic artist and all payment for art sold (checks) will be made out to the artist.
Important Dates:
March 14: Deadline for art submissions
April 1 – 15: Artists will be notified about selected submissions.
April 16 – May 15: Drop off times and locations will be available for art to be dropped off.

Who can submit:
If you live within 100 miles of Ventura County and have Autism, we invite you to submit art to be showcased at the show.
Number of submissions accepted:
You can enter up to 10 art pieces.
* Please note we will not be able to take every piece of art you submit. Artwork submissions are not guaranteed to be featured.
Art mediums and other Creative pieces submissions: drawing, pastels, paint, digital, photography, sculpture, pottery, etc. Please note: We will not accept AI produced artwork.
Live stage performance submissions: Stand-up comedy, poetry reading, vocal performance, dance, music, bands, monologues, reading of creative writing, etc.
Artisan Fair booth submissions: Homemade items such as candles, soaps, home decor, pottery, jewelry, prints or items featuring original artwork, crochet/knit items, art, books written by local Autistic authors, etc. Artisan food items can only be considered with proper Ventura County health permits (ie: a cottage food permit.) To sell artisan wares, you must commit to the full duration of the art show. You must bring a table, tablecloth, and canopy. Artists may rent these items for a TBD amount. Any items NOT created by the individual who submitted them will not be considered, including resold items. All artisan wares must be original.
A note to all Artists and Creatives: Please submit art that is meaningful and authentic to you. We will choose art that is reflective of the autistic mind, abstract, unique and authentic. There is no cost to submit your art. Artists who choose to sell their art will receive 100% of art proceeds.
