Ventura has many empty tree wells along our city streets. If you have one in your neighborhood, you can contact the City of Ventura Urban Forestry department and request that a street tree be planted. The city crew takes care of 30,000 trees, and new trees need watering for the first two years, so it is very helpful if residents volunteer to water them.
