CAREGIVERS: Volunteers Assisting the Elderly has partnered with Olas Laundry Service to help local seniors with their laundry needs.
Through this new initiative, volunteers are needed to assist with the pickup and drop-off of laundry for older adults in the community.
Olas Laundry Service will take care of all washing and folding. Volunteers will simply transport laundry to and from seniors’ homes, with a two-day turnaround between pickup and delivery.
This service will help ease a major burden for many seniors, and volunteers will play a meaningful role in improving their quality of life.
