Gratitude for Coverage and Invitation to Upcoming Event
Just want to thank you for printing the wonderful article by Ivor Davis and David Comden about our Sister City Association in your April 30-May 13 edition. We greatly appreciated the recognition and publicity. Two minor corrections are necessary. In the article there was mention of a couple who were hosts at their estate. Their last name was misspelled at “Kinsinger”. Their actual names are Linda and Tony Kinninger. And the caption below the front-page photograph has our Sister City misspelled. The City is Loreto; not to be confused with Laredo, which is in Texas. Other than that, it was a great article. Thanks again for running it. Also, to let your readers know, the Ventura Sister City Association, in conjunction with the Museum of Ventura County, will be showing an award-winning documentary about the Loreto area of Baja on July 10 at the Museum. It is free but limited to 190 tickets.
