On Wednesday, July 15, the Rotary Club of Ventura celebrated the work of 12 local nonprofit organizations during a special luncheon where more than $32,000 in grants from the club’s Foundation were awarded.
Board Member Saurabh recognized the Boys & Girls Club and High Tide Robotics. The Unitarian Universalist Church and Ventura County Medical Resource Foundation were presented by Board Member Rob. Board Member Roger introduced the YMCA and Ventura’s Homeless Prevention program, which helps residents facing eviction by providing rental assistance directly to property owners. Board Member Connie presented grants to NACT and Ventura Music Festival, while Rose recognized Love VC and NAMBA. Epic Leadership was honored by Board Member Indy, and Board Member Neal presented a grant to STEMbassadors.
The luncheon brought together Rotary members, nonprofit leaders, and community supporters to recognize organizations dedicated to improving lives throughout Ventura. The grant funding will help these nonprofits continue providing vital programs and services that address local needs and strengthen the community.
The event highlighted the important role nonprofit organizations play in supporting individuals, families, and the Ventura community as a whole. Through its Foundation grants, the Rotary Club of Ventura continues its long-standing commitment to service, collaboration, and investing in organizations that create meaningful local impact.
The celebration was a reminder that Ventura’s nonprofit community thrives through partnerships and the generosity of organizations and individuals who believe in making a difference. www.facebook.com/VenturaRotary.
