Ready to pull off the most elegant “heist” in town? The Ojai Art Center invites art lovers and thrill-seekers alike to its annual fundraiser, The Great Art Theft, happening Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 4–7 p.m. on The Ojai Art Center’s patio.
For $100, you can take part in this daring (but perfectly legal) art caper and walk away with a treasure. Local artists have generously donated original works—including paintings, sculptures, jewelry, ceramics, photography, and more—each valued far beyond the ticket price.
How it works:
Every $100 ticket is both your entry to the gala and your golden ticket into the drawing. Names are called one by one, and when it’s your turn, you get to “steal” your favorite piece of art from the collection. With so many stunning works to choose from, the suspense builds with every draw!
