The Moon Ditch Mural Project is in its final stages and the transformation is stunning. Stretching over 3,400 linear feet along the Ventura flood control channel visible from the southbound 101 (between Victoria Ave. and Johnson Dr., near the Ventura Auto Center), this landmark work led by artist Elisa Torres is shaping up to be one of the longest murals in California!
Community paint days brought over 100 neighbors and families together to leave their mark on the walls, a reminder that this mural wasn’t just made for our community, it was made by it. 98% of volunteers reported a new social connection, 98% left feeling inspired and/or more creative, and 96% were comfortable being themselves. https://vibewell.venturacounty.gov/moonditch.
