Recently I walked the “pedestrian friendly” downtown Main St. with Brett Hilton. I found it to be a bit depressing. Still feels as if we were walking down a regular street. I know it will cost lots of money to add planters, benches, pavers, etc. to make it feel not like a typical street, but a start would be to remove the yellow line down the middle and the parking space white markers. This is easily done by sand blasting.
