Dear Editor,
When I moved here 5 years ago there were flowers & crosses on every corner of the Darling Rd./Wells Rd. intersection. As those were removed, more took their place. In May I warned my friend who was dropping me off to be careful as it was a dangerous intersection. Sure enough, in the short time It took to drop me off and turn around, there was another accident there. And just a few weeks ago one of my neighbors lost his life there. How many people have to die before the powers that be do something to stop the carnage? I know one thing that would improve that intersection, but it would take a lot of work & money. Expand Darling on both sides to include turn lanes so we know who is going straight & who’s turning.
