“Welcome back to Halloween at Bard Mansion!” says Josh Carsman, Marketing & Fund Development Manager at Turning Point Foundation. “The fundraiser returns this year with a new enhanced dinner menu, more magic & comedy headliners, along with a fun ghost hunting experience (including seeing the rarely seen attic).
“Enjoy this exclusive evening of frights and delights at the historic Bard Mansion, located on the Port Hueneme Naval Base. Since it will be at the Naval Base, some personal information will be required in advance for background checks/gate clearance. Don’t miss out on this unforgettable exclusive event that will include shows, a ghost hunting kit, a plated sit-down ballroom dinner, dessert, and drinks.”
Proceeds from the show will help support Turning Point Foundation’s mission: ‘To improve the quality of life for adults experiencing serious mental illness, addiction, lack of housing and/or inadequate physical health care.’ This is done through Turning Point providing: 1) Health Navigation Services (physical health support); 2) Rehabilitation, Wellness and Recovery programs for addiction and severe mental illness; and, 3) Temporary, transitional, and permanent supported housing throughout Ventura County.
This event will be on October 25th from 6:00pm-10:30pm. Menu items will be: Filet Mignon, Herb Encrusted Salmon, or Mushroom Risotto with Grilled Vegetables topped with Truffle Oil (Vegetarian choice). Dessert choices will be: chocolate cake or New York Cheese Cake with strawberry drizzle. Wine, tea and/or coffee, and water will also be a part of this delicious meal.
