Join the Humane Society of Ventura County (HSVC) this August for Clear the Shelters — a nationwide pet adoption event helping animals find loving, forever homes!
Since 2015, Clear the Shelters has helped more than 1 million pets get adopted from shelters and rescues across the country. This life-saving campaign, spearheaded by NBCUniversal Local, unites communities with the goal of emptying shelters and filling hearts. Along with Greater Good Charities and Hill’s Pet Nutrition, we’re proud to once again participate in this incredible adoption movement.
Spin the Wheel, Adopt a Pet!
From Aug. 1–31, adoption fees will be determined by our Wheel of Adoption, back by popular demand! Prospective adopters can spin the wheel for a reduced adoption fee ranging from $10 to half-price. All dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens are eligible. (Promotion excludes horses.)
Fee-Waived Adoption Day!
Saturday, Aug. 23 – 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
As if our “Spin the Wheel” promo wasn’t fun enough, there’s more! To help as many pets as possible start their next chapter, we’re offering fee-waived adoptions on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Enjoy free giveaways, kids’ crafts, HSVC swag, sweet treats, free ID tags, and information about all things HSVC. The event will be held at the shelter at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai. (Horses not included in the promotion.)
