My name is Joey and I am the guardian of this adorable little girl named Louvelle, that’s why she’s in this photo with me. I love to play, take walks and chase rabbits (I never catch them)!

Hi: my name is Pico (short for Picoso) I am a Basset/Terrier mix who was adopted from a dog shelter in Thousand Oaks when I was 6 weeks old. My pup Mom takes real good care of me. I love other dogs and I am very friendly. I can do tricks for a treat and love to cuddle.

My name is Motley and I’d like to join the Scamp Club please.  I started out as a puppy in Taft.  Then the recession hit and lots of animals were abandoned. I made my way to the Humane Society in Ojai where my mommy rescued me nine years ago.
My left ear flops down- it’s one of the many things that makes me special but it doesn’t keep me from reading the Breeze.

My name is Cookie. I am a happy-go-lucky cheery kind of a fellow. A sweet guinea pig, but I am neither a pig nor am I from Guinea. I makes adorable tweeking sounds and like any good kid, I eat all of my vegetables!

My name is Bodie and Catalina is my new kitty friend. I was adopted from Westside German Shepard Rescue two years ago. Catalina was found In Ojai with a bunch of other kitties. I love the beach and laying in the water and playing ball. My Mom Rhonda takes me everywhere with her. She calls me Bodie Bop (I hate it) because my ears bop up and down when I walk.

Hi: We are Bunkii and Zubee. We are 7 and 6 and Shih Tzus like the wonderful Scamp. Bunkii likes to fetch and play soccer and Zubee loves to just cuddle and likes meeting new people.

This is Casanova, an 18-month-old rescue greyhound. He “failed” as a racing dog because he didn’t have the competitive spirit; he just wants to love and be loved. Here he is with his “bling” collar, among one of his fan clubs at the Friends of the Library book warehouse.

Missy Baumgardner is a 12- year- old Folk Singer and charmer.

Trixie may look like a bad dog in this photo but she is really a very good, loving girl.
