Bingo and Talent Show Fundraiser Supports Parkinson’s Research

By Ventura Breeze Staff –

Mark your calendars! The Michael J. Fox Foundation and the Ventura County Neurofitness Center are hosting the 2nd Annual Bingo and Talent Show to raise money and awareness for Parkinson’s disease. This two-day event will take place Friday, May 16, from 7 to 9:30 p.m., and Saturday, May 17, from 2 to 4:30 p.m., at the Ventura Marina Community Clubhouse, 1215 Anchors Way Drive in Ventura.

The event promises an hour of exciting bingo games, a community talent show, coffee, water, and desserts —all while supporting a worthy cause.

Doors open at 6 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday. Bingo begins promptly at 7 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $10 per person, plus a $10 bingo minimum buy-in. Each bingo game features prizes worth atleast $100, including Amazon and Wood Ranch gift cards.

Following bingo, enjoy a lively talent show highlighting local performers — including members of the Parkinson’s community — showcasing their unique talents.

The event is open to the public, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in support of its mission to improve care and fund research toward a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

“We are partnering with the Michael J. Fox Foundation to create awareness and raise money for our unrelenting pursuit of a cure for Parkinson’s disease,” said Dr. Vanessa White, owner and founder of the Ventura County Neurofitness Center and director of the Ventura County Parkinson’s Support Group. “I would love for you to be part of this fun-filled event. Last year’s show was packed with unique entertainment, and this year’s lineup is sure to thrill the audience again!”

Seating is limited, so reserve your spot today! Contact Dr. Vanessa White at 805-300-7749 or email vcneurofitness@hotmail.com. Arrive early, bring your friends and family, and enjoy an afternoon or evening of fun — all for an incredible cause.
