Bike 4 A Cause is officially recruiting freestyle bike performers from Venice Beach to Santa Barbara for its Spring 2025 Distance Challenge Award Ceremony on Saturday, July 26 at Westpark Community Center in Ventura, California.
This event is the grand finale of the Great Ventura Bike Distance Challenge—a free, all-ages community wellness initiative where participants log bike miles and earn milestone trophies, daily prizes, and a grand prize at the end of the season. The program runs every 2nd and 4th Saturday, from 10 AM to 6 PM, at Westpark, Ventura CA.
CALLING ALL BIKE PERFORMERS:
We’re offering paid performance slots for talented BMX, fixed gear, and flatland cyclists to showcase their skills at the award ceremony. Each slot runs 3–5 minutes, with a $40 stipend plus crowd tips. Riders can perform solo or as a team just bring the energy and creativity to wow the crowd.

JOIN THE DISTANCE CHALLENGE:
The public is also invited to ride and win! From kids to adults 55+, all participants are eligible to earn Family Achievement or Personal Achievement milestone trophies, log daily miles, and win season prizes—just by riding! Everything is free for the community, encouraging active living and connection through movement.
Riders can also join our Summer 2025 season to start racking up miles and earning gemstone trophies, which can be redeemed for exciting prizes!
They also host Bike & Pedestrian Safety Parades at major city events, and our Learn to Ride Days welcome new riders of all ages – including adults with disabilities.
