The Ventura City Council holds it’s regular business meetings on Mondays but the council will be asked to change that.
The council is changing their regular meetings to Tuesdays starting in 2024.
They will be held the second and fourth Tuesday of every month except August when the council is on their summer break.
City officials say having two meetings each month gives them room for special or extra meetings if necessary.
Ventura will join Oxnard, Ojai, Fillmore, Thousand Oaks, and the County Board of Supervisors in holding regular meetings on Tuesdays.
The first regular Tuesday meeting of the Ventura City Council will be on January 9, 2024.
