On July 9 a celebration for our veterans, past and present, was held at the Olivas Adobe. It featured a salute to arms, old guns and do it yourself photo booth and docent-led tours.
The Olivas Adobe historic site features the home of Don Raymundo Olivas. Built in 1847, this Monterey-style adobe home, Historical Landmark No. 115 from the Rancho-era, celebrates Ventura’s Rancho and Latino heritage.
