Ventura County candidate forum dates announced

League of Women Voters of Ventura County (LWVVC), a nonpartisan political organization presents the complete schedule for various Ventura County candidate forums it is sponsoring or co-sponsoring for September and October 2018 in the run up to the November 6 elections. All forums are free and open to the public. This is a great way to get to know the candidates and their positions on issues affecting their local community.

Thursday, Sept. 20; 6:30 – 8:30 PM, at DeAnza Middle School, 2060 Cameron St., Ventura

  • 6:30 – 7:00 PM Ventura Unified School District. Area #1 (3 candidates)
  • 7:05 – 7:45 PM Ventura City Council. District #1 (4 candidates)
  • 7:50 – 8:30 PM Ventura County Community College District (4 candidates)
