The Ventura County Library (VCL) has announced the launch of Reimagine Your VC Library, a countywide strategic planning initiative designed to shape the library’s programs, services, and priorities for the coming years. Through the initiative, VCL is inviting residents across Ventura County to share their ideas and feedback to help ensure that the library continues to meet the evolving needs of its diverse communities. Public input is invited to identify community needs and opportunities to create inclusive and welcoming library spaces, provide optimum access to resources and technology and design innovative programs that inspire and empower.
Focus group discussions will be held at library branches: Saticoy Library on Saturday, December 6, 11 am to1 pm; Avenue Library on Wednesday, December 10, 6 to 8 pm; Hill Road Library on Tuesday, January 13, 6 to 8 pm; E.P. Foster Library on Saturday, January 24, 2 to 4 pm.

Craft a glowing card for friends and family this holiday season with paper circuits! We’ll guide you through how to create simple paper circuitry using only a few items, and a basic understanding of how circuits work.

Discover Science – Melting Snowmen

Join our Discover Science volunteers to explore science topics through hands-on activities! We will learn about chemical reactions, acids, and bases by making and melting snowmen. This event is designed for children grades K-5 and their families.
