The Regency Buenaventura 6 Theatre, located at 1440 Eastman Ave. across from Burlington, has shuttered its doors after 40 years. This leaves Cinemark Century Ventura Downtown 10 as the only remaining movie theater in Ventura. The Regency theater announced its closure on its Facebook page on August 4th. The theater opened in 1985 as Mann’s Buenaventura 6 Theatre.
Player’s Casino, currently at the Ventura County Fairgrounds is planning to relocate there.
