Significant modifications have been made to the proposed Park Plaza development at 701 E. Santa Clara St., including a 10-foot height reduction and a wider sidewalk on Fir St. as requested by Livable Ventura. Despite these modifications, major concerns remain for Livable Ventura, including the project’s excessive scale, design incompatibility with the neighborhood, and the anticipated increase in vehicular traffic.
