Tri-County students to explore construction and built environment careers.
The Construction Industry Education Foundation (CIEF) will host the first- ever Ventura County Trades Day on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 9:00 – 12:00 pm at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.
More than 650+ high school students from Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties will attend, with over 30+ industry partners confirmed. The event introduces students to construction and built environment careers through hands-on demonstrations, activities, and direct engagement with industry professionals.
“This is more than a field trip—it’s a chance for students to discover a future they may have never imagined,” said Brittany Albaugh, CIEF’s Director of National Youth Programs. “Whether their interests are in engineering, the trades, design, or project management, Trades Day connects them with the professionals who build our communities.”
