By Ventura Breeze Staff –
Household Hazardous Waste Events are held on the third Saturday of each month from 9 am to 2 pm, except December; City of Ventura residents and small businesses can register for an appointment to drop off hazardous materials for proper disposal, as these materials pose serious threats to human, plant, and animal life and cannot be placed in the trash, dumped on the ground, or poured down storm drains, with more than 200,000 pounds collected annually from Ventura residents.
