Meet Louie, a 2-year-old mixed breed who’s crossing his paws in hopes of finding sponsors to help send him to Working Dogs of Nevada. Louie was adopted as a puppy but surrendered at just a year old. He’s been with CARL Dogs ever since. Incredibly smart, playful, loving and dog-friendly, Louie is eager to please his humans. But for more than half his life, he’s been confined, which isn’t the life a growing pup deserves.
Over the past year, Louie has been placed in several homes, but none have lasted more than a month due to behavioral challenges. Most recently, he thrived in a wonderful foster home—until his behavioral issues resurfaced, making him unadoptable for the average family.
Working Dogs of Nevada specializes in helping dogs like Louie through a structured board-and-train program, ultimately finding them the forever homes they deserve. With the right support, Louie can finally get the second chance he needs.
