Hi, I’m Luna! I’m a 1 1/2-year-old PitBull mix looking for a loving home. I adore human attention and playing with toys. It’s unclear how I’d do with other dogs, cats, or children, but I have plenty of love to share with the right family. My previous owner wanted to euthanize me because they didn’t want the responsibility of caring for a dog, but CARL believes I still have so much love and happiness to give. I’m incredibly sweet and hopeful, and I know I can be a bright light in someone’s life.

Hi, I’m Ronnie! I’m a sweet adult Chow/Jindo mix who was rescued from a shelter. I can be extremely shy and even fearful at times, but I’ve never shown aggression. Because of my sensitive nature, I’d do best in a calm, quiet home without too many visitors or too much noise. I need a patient, caring owner who will give me the time and space to feel safe and secure. I’m not good with chickens or cats, and it’s unknown if I get along with other dogs or children. I’m just a gentle soul looking for the right home to help me shine.

Hi, I’m Ketchup! I’m an almost 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier/American Pitbull mix who was rescued from a shelter. I can be a bit shy at first. I’d thrive in a calm, gentle home with carpeted floors. My rescuers noticed I seemed scared of the dark and was a bit unsure around men, but I’m working on building my confidence. I’ve walked well with other dogs at the kennel and wasn’t reactive to dogs on walks. Let’s do a meet-and-greet to see if we’re a good match. It’s unknown how I’d do with cats or children, but I promise to bring love and joy to my forever home.

Hi, I’m Archie! I’m a carefree, 2-year-old Shepherd mix in need of a new home. I recently joined CARL’s adoption program after being found as a stray. I’m very strong and could use some work on my leash manners, but I’m not dog-reactive—I don’t bark in my kennel or at other dogs I see. I’ve joined playgroups and even tried to interact with others, just in my own quirky way. I have a bouncy energy that I love showing off when meeting new people! I haven’t been tested with cats or children, but I’d love the chance to meet them.
All of these amazing pets are being cared for by the Canine Adoption and Rescue League (CARL). Could you provide a forever home for one of these wonderful animals? To read full pet bios and submit an application, visit www.CARLDogs.org or call 805-644-7387.
