
Ventura College Performing Arts Center – Celebrating 100 Years
This November, the Ventura College Performing Arts Center comes alive with a dazzling lineup of music, theatre, and dance celebrating creativity, community, and 100 years of Ventura College!
The VC Symphony Orchestra’s Celebration! (Nov. 1) opens the month with faculty compositions, a new work by visiting composer Mark Menzies, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.
Then, enjoy Music With Friends (Nov. 3) featuring world-class artists in a lively afternoon of chamber music and song.
The VC Theatre Arts Department presents Mary Chase’s Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy Harvey (Nov. 12–16) at Ventura College’s intimate Studio Theater.
The VC Choirs present a breathtaking evening of choral works by Alex Berko and Gwyneth Walker at the San Buenaventura Mission (Nov. 20).
Experience bold movement in VC Dance Department’s Rebel Rhythms: The Joy of Resistance (Nov. 20-22).
Close the month with the VC Chamber Music Concert (Nov. 21) at the San Buenaventura Mission.
