The Eat Sleep Teep Semi-Contact Muay Thai Series recently roared back into action with its fourth event, held recently at Tuttle Gym at Ventura High School, delivering over 40 exciting matches in one of California’s most vibrant Muay Thai gatherings to date.
This event was presented by GH05T Brand (gh05tbrand.com), the flagship Title Sponsor who has supported the Eat Sleep Teep initiative since its early days. GH05T Brand’s commitment to growing Muay Thai across the Gold Coast and beyond has been instrumental in elevating the quality and visibility of this unique semi-contact platform.

The event once again fused authentic Muay Thai tradition with Ventura’s local energy, drawing hundreds of competitors, families, and spectators from throughout California and neighboring states. With a fully packed gym throughout the day, Pizza Man Dan’s food truck kept attendees fueled, while the rhythm of the event was guided by Spencer Noren of Ventura Forward. Promoters Jonathan Puu of Pu’u Muay Thai Ventura and promoted alongside Ryan and Carol Ughoc of Pu’u Muay Thai Santa Barbara, the Eat Sleep Teep Semi-Contact series was created to offer a safe, structured, and family-friendly version of Muay Thai that’s still rich in technique and culture. The word “teep,” which refers to Muay Thai’s signature front kick, is also a trademarked term coined by Puu as part of the brand’s identity.
“We’ve gone from our first event in 2024 to licensing our model to other parts of the country,” said Jonathan Puu. “We’re not just building events — we’re building a sustainable system to grow Muay Thai in every community that wants it.”
And that expansion is already underway. The Eat Sleep Teep promotional model has now been officially licensed to Nashville, Tennessee, where the first-ever Eat Sleep Teep Nashville will take place on October 12, 2025, at the Nashville Fairgrounds. This marks a major milestone for the promotion, as it takes its proven semi-contact format to new regions through strategic licensing and partnerships.
