Hundreds gathered in downtown Ventura on Friday, Dec. 6, for the annual tree lighting ceremony in front of the Mission. Ventura Mayor Joe Schroeder, Santa Claus, and Father Tom Elewaut joined together to light up the holiday tree, spreading festive cheer throughout the community.
