Nearly 300 young participants in the Ventura Junior Lifeguard Program took on the exciting challenge of swimming around the Ventura Pier on August 7th. The annual event tested the swimmers’ endurance, confidence, and ocean safety skills as they navigated the waters under the watchful eyes of lifeguards and instructors. Family members and spectators cheered from the beach and pier, celebrating the accomplishments of the young swimmers.
