Daisy is fighting for her life, and CARL Dogs needs your help to give her the chance at recovery she deserves.
She was one of three dogs who spent a year waiting for their owner to recover from an illness that ultimately took her life. CARL stepped in to care for Daisy, but the battle is far from over. She was scheduled for surgery last year to remove multiple masses, but before it could happen, she was found to be anemic, forcing the procedure to be postponed.
Now, tests show Daisy’s anemia is severe, and she has developed a heart murmur. The only way to determine the cause and provide the treatment she needs is through a bone marrow biopsy, which will cost about $3,000. With follow-up lab work and specialist visits, expenses are expected to reach $5,000.
Despite the hardships she has faced, Daisy remains a happy, sweet girl, full of love.
