On February 15, the Ventura County Fire Communication Center received multiple calls regarding a traffic collision at Loma Vista Rd. and North Victoria Ave.
Ventura Police units quickly arrived and found a pickup truck on its side with two patients self-extricated. A second vehicle, an SUV, crashed into a parked car with two patients trapped in critical condition.
Fire personnel arrived within 3 minutes, stabilized the vehicle, and used the Jaws of Life for extrication. All patients were freed within 30 minutes and transported to local hospitals. Patient conditions are unknown. HIPAA prevents disclosure of protected health information (PHI).
