Meet Ryder — a stunning 5-year-old husky who has been patiently waiting for his forever home since arriving at Ventura County Animal Services (VCAS) in April 2025.
This sweet, gentle boy recently enjoyed a field trip with VCAS volunteer Linda, where he proved to be the perfect companion. Ryder walked politely on a leash around the Ventura Harbor shops, charmed his server at lunch and rode calmly in the car.
Volunteers adore this lovable guy, and he would be open to sharing his home with a laid-back canine sibling.
