“We The People–1700s Boston” was created by researching actual papers, diaries, and journals from museums and archives. This reveals the truth of how the Boston Tea Party and Declaration of Independence really originated; not how modern historians have reshaped history leaving it full of holes like a doily for the mind. This production aired locally and nationwide six times via www.kvta.com and also aired six times on www.ktms.com. All broadcasts aired just days before the 2024 presidential election.
Celebrity Host for “We The People–1700s Boston” was Bruce Belland—singer, songwriter, producer and director of major radio, TV, and print campaigns. Now in their 36th year with 65 awards, the all-volunteer Every Now and Then Theatre’s radio dramas benefit foster children by providing broadcast CD copies to cast, crew, and fans in trade for their donations. 100% of the proceeds go to the effort. No one personally profits. Top local actors are selected countywide and mixed with beginners. Participants are allowed only one rehearsal, then perform. Every Now and Then Theatre can be found by name at the website www.everynowandthentheatre.com.
