The Ventura County Continuum of Care is seeking volunteers to assist with the 2026 Homeless Point in Time Count on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. This count is required for our state and federal grants that fund local homeless shelters, permanent supportive housing, rental assistance programs, street outreach and more! Visit the website for more details. Volunteer hours begin at sunrise, and it takes between 2 to 5 hours, depending on the city selected. We will be using a mobile app called “Counting Us” to capture the survey data which will be reviewed during training in mid-Jan.
