County Parks Updates Reservation System

Ventura County Parks is launching a new reservation management website designed to make booking easier, expand advance reservation windows, and provide more self-service options for visitors.

The new system includes online reservations for Distinguished Veterans program members, expanded 180-day booking windows for Rincon Parkway, and online self-service options for Day Use and Community Center reservations.

“These updates reflect visitor feedback and our commitment to improving the experience for everyone who enjoys Ventura County Parks,” said Parks Director Colter Chisum.

Key dates:

  • Friday, July 10: New reservation site account creation opens.
  • Monday, July 13, at noon: Reservations for stays beginning Dec. 1 open.
  • Dec. 1: New reservation system launches.

During the transition, two reservation websites will operate. Reservations for stays through Nov. 30 will continue through the current system, while stays beginning Dec. 1 or later will use the new system. Both are available at parks.venturacounty.gov.

Beginning Dec. 1:

  • Reservations will be available 180 days in advance at noon, including Rincon Parkway reservations.
  • Guests will be able to make Day Use and Community Center reservations online.
  • Distinguished Veterans program members will be able to reserve campsites online with approved camping fees waived.

Visitors should note that reservations made before Dec. 1 remain valid. Changes to existing reservations require cancellation and rebooking, and a $20 cancellation fee applies.
