Announcing ETC’s Spring Theater Trip!

By Ventura Breeze Staff –

Join fellow theatre lovers and ETC staff on an unforgettable trip to London May 12th-18th.

Trip Includes:
• 6 nights luxury accommodation at the Clermont Charing Cross, including a daily full English breakfast.
• 5 incredible theatre productions.
• Exclusive dining experiences including an afternoon tea & dinner cruise down the Thames.
• Cultural outings including a guided walking tour of the history of British theatre, a guided tour of the Palace of Westminster, and an out-of-hours tour of the British Museum.
• Engaging discussions post-show.
• Pre-departure mixer in Santa Barbara.

The Plays:
We are thrilled to have special access to the National Theatre, where, in addition to a behind-the-scenes tour, we’ll be seeing two of their productions:

DEAR ENGLAND, James Graham’s Olivier Award-winning Best New Play, directed by Rupert Goold is a gripping examination of both nation and game. The country that gave the world football has since delivered a painful pattern of loss. Why can’t England’s men win at their own game?

HERE WE ARE, Stephen Sondheim’s “cool, and impossibly chic” (NY Times Critics Pick) final musical, with a book by David Ives, is directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe Montello and stars an exceptional cast including Tracie Bennett, Denis O’Hare, Jane Krakowski and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

Other plays will be announced at a later date. Plays under consideration include:
• WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION
• RETROGRADE
• THE GREAT GATSBY
• STRANGER THINGS
• CLUELESS
• THE CHOIR OF MAN
• HARRY POTTER
• MOULIN ROUGE

Trip Cost*:
• $6,000 per person, double occupancy
• $1,500 single supplement
*Includes a $2,500 tax-deductible donation to ETC. Price does not include airfare or transportation to/from airport.
