The Ojai Art Center presents the 49th Annual Art in the Park, returning to Libbey Park on Saturday and Sunday, May 23–24, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This beloved Ojai tradition will once again transform the park into a vibrant outdoor gallery featuring 70+ carefully juried fine artists, interactive activity areas, and special live performances throughout the weekend.
Featured & Poster Artist
This year’s featured exhibitor and poster artist is Carlos Grasso, an internationally recognized artist known for his richly layered mixed-media works and distinctive visual storytelling. Carlos and his artwork will be one of many fine artists showcased throughout the event.
In addition to the fine art exhibitors, Art in the Park will feature a variety of interactive activities for both children and adults. Visitors can enjoy creative experiences throughout the weekend, including the colorful and imaginative face and body painting of 805 Body Art and the whimsical mobile bar experience from Show Pony Bar. These activity areas add a playful and engaging dimension to the festival, making Art in the Park a welcoming event for the entire community.
Performances & Live Music
Saturday will be filled with a variety of live performances, including international numbers by Dance Ojai and skits by young actors starring in the OAC’s production of Seussical the Musical Jr. Sunday’s entertainment will feature blues-rock powerhouse Shawn Jones, performing live in the Libbey Park gazebo, a crowd favorite and perfect finale to the weekend celebration.
