Vol. 10, No. 15 – April 26 – May 9, 2017 – Harbor Patrol Blotter

 4-1 2:50pm, received a report of an injured person near ice cream shop in the village.  Officers responded and assisted a female with a broken ankle.  The patient was transported to local hospital by family members.

2:55pm, received a dispatch to a person choking at the village carousel.  Officers responded and assisted Ventura fire, AMR with the patient who was eventually transported to local hospital for further evaluation.      

4-2 1:14pm, received a dispatch to a sick person at 1576 Spinnaker.  Officers responded and assisted VFD, AMR with the patient.

5:05pm, observed a Personal Water Craft having difficulty near the #10 buoy.  Officers responded and assisted the two persons attempting to right the craft.  Assisted the two back to the city dock.  

4-4 7:38am, received a report from Manson dredge supervisors that the operation is complete and they will be removing the pipe(s) from the beach and the main channel along with all other dredging equipment.

5:10pm, received a report of a vessel aground near clingers point in the harbor.  Officers responded and pulled the sailboat off a sandbar without issue.

10:37pm, received a dispatch to an overdose at a restaurant in the village.  Officers responded and assisted Ventura fire, AMR with a two patients who consumed too much alcohol.  One of the patients was transported to local hospital for further evaluation.          

4-5 .11:41am, received a report of a fall victim at Harbor blvd / Spinnaker drive.  Officers responded and found local female transient in the area intoxicated.

2:11pm, received a dispatch to an individual bleeding heavily in the mobile home park.  Officers responded and assisted Ventura fire, AMR with the patient who was transported to local hospital for further evaluation.

2:50pm, received a dispatch to a medical at 1400 Spinnaker Drive.  Officers responded and discovered several transients who appeared to have assaulted one another but all refused medical.

7:47pm, received a dispatch to a unknown medical, person down at Spinnaker drive / Harbor.  Officers responded and assisted Ventura fire / AMR with local female transient passed out on the grass near the intersection.  VPD was contacted and responded to handle intoxicated female.

4-7 6:09pm, received a dispatch to a unknown medical at Harbor / Spinnaker drive.  Officers responded and assisted Ventura fire, AMR with local female transient intoxicated.  She was transported to local hospital for further care.
