Hi: My name is Rufus. I am a 12-year-old English sheepdog. I have never actually met a sheep but I’m pretty sure I would love to herd them if I had the chance! I herd my human parents all the time – they hate it! My humans think they take me for a walk but I assure you it is quite the opposite!

Hi:  I’m Hector, an orange tabby.  I live in Ventura with my mom.  I was born in Texas and rescued from a nasty situation on a Dallas school yard – but we don’t talk about that anymore.   I took a long road trip to get here from Texas.  I used to fly back and forth to Texas with my mom but I think my traveling days are over.

Now I enjoy being the CEC – the Chief Executive Cat of the household.  I have several employees (my mom is one) who do my bidding; they take care of such things as feeding me, snuggling with me, playing with me and typing my correspondence such as this email (’tis such an inconvenience to not have thumbs!). I am also a therapist for the other four legged family members.

Hi: I’m Teddy, Mira Reverente who writes for the Breeze is my roommate.  I’m a 5 year old, Labrador-Greyhound mix. Love to run, hike, chase after squirrels, cuddle and bark at the gardener and the postman. Will do anything for a treat.

Hi: I’m Sidney a lady 5 year old  papillon-terrier. I am a lucky dog because I was rescued from the Camarillo shelter.  I like the beach  and going to work with Linda at Melange in Downtown. One time I took a car ride all the way to NY and I was very well behaved.

Hi: We are Cody Bear and Clifford we are Shih Tzu  brothers. We are 12-years old. We like socializing, dancing and traveling. This is what Scamp would look like if he got a summer haircut or lost a few pounds.

Hi: I’m Luigi Maltese, I’m 6 and also known as  Napoleon. I’m a therapy dog, we come in all shapes and sizes. I speaks Italian and love yumi-yumies and running in circles like cats do.

Hi: I’m Livi a 4-year old lady bearded collie. I am a service dog at Foster Library (kid’s read to me), at CMH Dr. Gall Therapy Program and at the veterans center in East Ventura. Beside this my favorite thing is sheep herding at On the Lamb Ranch in Camarillo. Scamp was there recently I’m sure he will tell you about it one day.

Hi: We are Boomer( age 4) and Chloe( age 6) we are adorable West Highland Terriers. We like to play with toys and enjoy the water. We live in Valencia but there isn’t any water there so we come to visit Ventura and enjoy the ocean. Here we are at the FelixNFido dog adoption event with our caricatures drawn by Jamie Baker.

Hi: I’m Sarge Quinn Fenwick, a nineyear-old French bulldog. I have been traveling with my best friends after he retired (you may recognize the former Assistant Chief of Police holding me) to Barcelona, Italy, France, England and two trips on the Queen Mary.
