Hi: I’m Sasha, a sweet older Labrador / Pit Bull mix who enjoys going on leisurely short walks. I was adopted years ago into what I thought was my forever home, but sadly, through no fault of my own I am back at CARL waiting once again for a family to call my own. I’m thankful CARL has a lifetime commitment to all of their dogs and welcomed me back with open arms.

I don’t pull much on leash and I don’t seem to care about the other dogs. I like to hang out in the grass and be around people. I’d really love to spend my golden years in a warm cozy home loved by people.

Hi, I’m Luna, a beautiful Shepherd X who is all dressed up and ready to celebrate Halloween in my forever home

I’m in need of a new home as I escaped from my previous home and was unfortunately hit by a car in the process. My previous owners took me to the vet where surgery was initially recommended and my previous owners could not afford the surgery. Thankfully the vet contacted CARL about possibly taking me into their program. CARL took me in and received a second opinion which recommended strict rest for a couple weeks and then re-assess afterwards to see if surgery was still the best option.

After strict rest for what seemed to be forever and several follow up vet visits, I’ve recovered and I’m ready for my forever family to come and take me home.

I’m an active girl who enjoys going for walks and I will lean into you to get pets when you enter my kennel run.

Chuck is a sweet, gentle old man who walks well on leash, and has done great with children and adults here at the shelter! While he doesn’t appear to be reactive to other dogs, we think a doggie sibling just as mellow as he is would suit him best.

He has several large masses that, while we believe to just be fatty, make shelter life a little extra uncomfortable for him. If you have a big heart for senior pups with frosted faces, Chuck is the guy for you.

Hi: we’re Hulk, Lightning and Thor, adorable and adventurous Great Pyrenees, Chow, Boxer, German Shepherd and Labrador X (DNA test results). Our mom Kiki was pregnant and rescued from Apple Valley shelter in her hour of need. CARL volunteers (Team Kiki) stepped up to sponsor her so we all could come into CARL’s adoption program.

Meet Jacob, a 9-month-old mixed breed pup whose heart is as big as he is! Jacob was a little shy when he first came to the shelter as a stray, but now is affectionate and playful with both humans and dogs! He even helps new dogs get used to playing.
