Hi: I’m Momo a sweet 2-year-old Terrier X found as a stray. I’m in a foster home for the holidays and the foster thinks I may have been around cats before. Although I’m very curious, I know when to leave the cat alone. There are also two dogs in the foster home.

I’m full of puppy energy and can’t wait to be a cherished member of a loving family. Stop by and meet me! Canine Adoption and Rescue League C.A.R.L.CARL Adoption Center-call 644-7387 for more information.

Vol. 13, No. 5 – Dec 4 – Dec 17, 2019 – Forever Homes Wanted

Hi: I’m Snowflake a beautiful 6 1/2 year old Husky in need of a new home because my owner abandoned me. I don’t understand why, but I’m thankful C.A.R.L. will help me find my true forever home.

I’m an active girl who is playful and outgoing, but I need to be your one and only. No other dogs or cats in the home please. I’m crate trained and know some basic commands and walk well on leash. I was in a foster home for a short while, but I was jealous of the small children in the home getting attention. I wanted my foster mom’s and dad’s attention all to myself. I’d grab something to chew on that I knew I shouldn’t just to get them to come to me. I need a home with no small children.

If you’re looking for one great gal, stop by and meet me. CARL Adoption Center-call 644-7387 for more information.

Sweet gentle Cornia is always purring. She makes a cute chirping noise (like
a bird) when she’s happy. Some think she’s a bit goofy looking, but we think
she has an endearing look which fits her adorable personality. Corina can be
found patiently waiting for you at our beautiful Simi location in kennel
#929. Ventura County Animal Services – Simi location – 670 W. Los Angeles Ave.

Vol. 13, No. 4 – Nov 20 – Dec 3, 2019 – Forever Homes Wanted

Hi: I’m Barney a 6 year old handsome Saint Bernard (mostly) / Border Collie

(DNA test) in need of a new home. Due to my size and strength and I sometimes startle easily I’d do best in an adult only home. I’m house trained via a doggy door and I enjoy going for two 20 min walks a day. I can be a bit standoffish and reserved until I get to know and trust you. It’s unknown how I would do with other dogs or cats or children. I have a strong prey drive to little critters in the yard.

If you can provide a patient loving home please stop by and meet me. Experience with my breed would be helpful. Canine Adoption and Rescue League C.A.R.L. Adoption Center-call 644-7387 for more information.

Vol. 13, No. 1 – Oct 9 – Oct 22, 2019 – Forever Homes Wanted

Hi: I’m Louie a 13 year old Corgi/Chihuahua/Golden Lab X. Sadly my owner passed away and I’m heartbroken and confused that she is no longer around to love and take care of me. Thankfully I’m in a loving foster home, but what I really want is a forever home.

I would do best in a quiet adult only home as the only pet in the home. I enjoy going for walks and being with my person. I’d make a loving loyal companion.

I hope my special someone is out there who will let me live out my days in the comfort of a home surrounded by love. Canine Adoption and Rescue League C.A.R.L. CARL Adoption Center-call 644-7387 for more information.

Hi: I’m Polo a 2 1/2 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who was found as a stray. I fell into a swimming pool, maybe not the best way to get attention, but it sort of worked. The people who owned the pool couldn’t keep me and they reached out to C.A.R.L. to help find me my forever home. No one has come to claim me, so I’m ready to be adopted.

I have a twinkle in my eyes and a great smile. I’m just patiently waiting for you to come and adopt me. Canine Adoption and Rescue League C.A.R.L. CARL Adoption Center-call 644-7387 for more information.

Bug,  what a great dog…He is shy and gentle cuddle-bug, very sweet on leash, walks right beside you.  He just lies down by your side or sets his heavy head in your lap for a pat. He doesn’t jump up on you.

He is good with adopters who are comfortable with canines who have a laidback attitude and prefer an easygoing lifestyle. Looking for an emotionally secure, mutually satisfying, low maintenance relationship? Let him sit at your feet, walk by your side, and be your devoted companion forever Ventura County Animal Services – Simi location – 670 W Los Angeles Ave(A611191)

Eeyore recently had something big happen to him. This happy go lucky dog has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. The vet also found that he has an enlarged heart, chronic valvular disease, and a golf ball sized mass on his heart. When performing any kind of exercise or if he starts getting hot, blood gets pushed back into his heart instead of flowing away. Eeyore needs a medical foster since being at the kennel can be tough and will only stress his body more. The average lifespan of dogs with these conditions is about 12-18 months. The sooner we get him into a relaxing home where he can be without stress, the better his quality of life will be. Please help by opening your home up to Eeyore or sharing this with your friends.
