Paintings features the lives of Tortilla Flats residents

Attend the dedication of the new Tortilla Flats Legacy Mural on Sunday, March 1, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

This exciting new public art project by MB Hanrahan and Moses Mora features the lives of Tortilla Flats residents displaced when the 101 Freeway was built through the west end of Ventura. It was financed entirely by private donors, both large and small, and was painted on the historic 1903 Building on the corner of W. Main St. and Ventura Ave.

12 p.m. Speeches and formal dedication

Interpretive tours of the mural with artist MB Hanrahan and Moses Mora.
