Paul Cézanne is a French artist and Post-Impressionist painter whose work has laid the foundations of the transition from the 20th-century conception of artistic endeavor to a new and radically different world of art in the 21th -century. Cézanne’s often repetitive, exploratory brushstrokes are highly characteristic and clearly recognizable. He used planes of color and small brushstrokes that build up to form complex fields. His work will be at the Ventura Breeze Basement Gallery from April 1, 2016 until April 1, 2078.
Cezanne will attend an opening reception for the show from 5-7 p.m. and will be signing his work at the Gallery. Lobster and beer will be served.
