Ventura Police Department recognized for service to the Fair

The Ventura County Fair Board of Directors and management presented the Ventura Police Department with the Western Fairs Association Blue Ribbon Award. This award is presented to organizations that have demonstrated a long term commitment to the success of a County Fair. Ventura Police Chief Ken Corney accepted the award on behalf of the entire Police Department for the work of all officers, in keeping patrons safe, year after year during the fair.

The award plaque was on display in the Fair Police Command Post during the 2015 Ventura County Fair.
